Slings Diploma
In the course of your Slings education you have been building strong skills – bravo from all of us at art of motion! The Slings Diploma is an assessment of your skills and knowledge. It is also an opportunity for you to refine these skills, clarify questions, and consolidate your understanding. The assessment day is a dynamic mix of teaching, moving, reflection, and knowledge distillation.
During the assessment we want to observe, hear, and sense your understanding of the Slings Myofascial Training concept, as opposed to having you recite information from your short-term memory. As a modern institute for adult education we firmly believe that an assessment should sharpen and deepen your subject matter knowledge. We do not subscribe to testing your reading skills in twisted multiple-choice questions, demoralizing you, or overtaxing your body by setting unrealistic movement goals.
We encourage you to make the most of your Slings Myofascial Training education by completing the Slings Diploma course.
PS: If you feel like this is not the right time for an assessment, or you just don’t have enough time to study, you are not alone. We have all felt that way at times, but we encourage you to enrol today anyway…there is no time like the present!
The 3 Components
Diploma Assessment Structure
In order to successfully earn your diploma in Slings Myofascial Training and the title of Slings Myofascial Training Teacher Advanced Level there are 3 assessment components that you need to complete:
- Online theory assessment (book your Slings Online Theory Assessment)
- Written lesson plan (download template)
- Practical assessment day (find your Slings Diploma date)
Online Theory Assessment
We will test your knowledge of the Slings theory with online quizzes prior to the practical assessment day.
Note: If you have already completed the Slings Online Theory Assessment in your Foundation Level, you do not need to repeat it for the Slings Diploma.
Written Lesson Plan
Your understanding of functional Slings exercise sequencing is tested with a written lesson plan that you will hand in prior to the practical assessment day.
Practical Assessment Day
Your teaching and movement competencies as well as your ability to self-reflect are assessed face-to-face in a small group setting.
Slings Diploma Learner’s Guide
