A glimpse into the life of...
Before I started my own business I worked with physiotherapists and osteopaths in various settings across Melbourne. During this time, while under the wings of Karin Gurtner, my interest in women’s health grew and I found myself developing a personal teaching practice which had its beginnings in my love for the teachings of Movement and FAMO.
In my practice called “Create Movement” I offer programs that are science informed, practice based and a result of the comprehensive training at the art of motion Academy.
I have continued to have a strong interest in women’s health as well as injury prevention and management.
In 2017 I hosted the very first Anatomy Trains in Motion Australia in Melbourne. My aim is to ensure that I share the knowledge that I have gained with my movement community in Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. I want empowerment for my clients so that they can practice a lifelong balanced and happy lifestyle.
I have gained experience and certification in the Garuda Methode and taken part in various workshops at Eric Franklin’s and Continuum Movement. I have been inspired to design unique Holistic Movement Programs for the various sessions on offer in my community and at the retreats that I organise and present.
Currently I am developing particular interest in rehabilitation and functional training. I find that I am constantly learning more about the healing arts of complimentary therapies like Crystal Therapy, Reiki, Pellowah and Ayurveda.
I love the outdoors. I encourage open-air sessions and alfresco activities. I am often seen walking our much- loved giant dog along the beach and I enjoy cold swims. Perhaps this comes from my Alpine background. I enjoy cooking for my husband and friends and in my spare time I like snowboarding, hiking, cycling, reading and martial arts.
