Mountain Retreat with Tom Myers and Karin Gurtner: When the Body Speaks
The language of movement underlies all our verbal and feeling communication. ‘Kinese’ is everyone’s first language in our infant years. We initially speak and listen through our kinaesthetic sense.
Supported by the energy of the beautiful Swiss mountains, you will learn the art and craft of sensing how bodies speak through postural assessment in movement and through touch and get insight into holistic posture-based exercise mapping, and practice rebalancing Slings Myofascial Training lessons.
During the retreat, time is also set aside for you for individual postural assessment with Tom and Karin. In an individual 15-minute BodyReading session, you will gain insights regarding your own patterns through the lens of manual therapy and movement masters and leave with invaluable information to strengthen your somatic resources, as well as strategies on how to enhance dynamic balance and inner lift.
There is no better place than the Ermitage Wellness & Spa to treat yourself with three nourishing days filled with invaluable learning, transformative experiencing, and quality time for your bodymind and spirit.
