Heidi possesses a Masters in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Functional Aging Specialist, 200-Hour Yoga Teacher, and is one of just four Slings Myofascial Training Practitioners in the US. Heidi is passionate about empowering individuals, especially those sixty and older, to live their best life through healthy changes and intentional, intelligent movement. In this podcast, Heidi recounts her journey with PTSD and how mindfulness, movement, and fascia played a positive role. The two also discuss taking a resource-oriented approach to movement, and address misconceptions surrounding movement, mobility and aging.
