More about the live online format
Anatomy Trains in Motion (ATiM) is an in-depth course for movement and bodywork professionals who love integral anatomy and body-minded exercise applications that relate to real-life in all of its dimensions. This resource-oriented education focusses on the qualities of Thomas W. Myers’ Anatomy Trains concept that enhance everyday functionality and vitality as well as somatic resourcefulness; therefore, self-healing. The ATiM live online course content corresponds to the regular ATiM course and is therefore equivalent to a regular ATiM in a classroom setting. Anatomy Trains in Motion is a self-contained course that is also the first module of the Slings Myofascial Training diploma education.
“I wasn't sure what to expect of Anatomy Trains in Motion online, as it had only previously been done in person. But my bodyworker/pilates instructor recommended it and I have nothing but good things to say about the inaugural online course. Muriel is the kind of teacher that I wish we could see more of - incredibly knowledgeable without being overwhelming, and a wonderfully empathetic listener (especially challenging online!) Despite not being able to physically interact with everyone, she and her team managed to create an environment that made us feel engaged and connected. The course material was robust and clearly presented, with well-timed opportunities to practise and experience the physical effects in between. Every day of the course, I had more than one "AH HA!" moment - both in my head and with my body - and I have been inspired to continue on the learning journey that ATiM work delves into. What I've found most fascinating is how relevant and effective this work has been in helping me strengthen and rehabilitate from my own dancing injuries. I totally recommend this to anyone who is invested in feeling and moving better - for themselves and for the movement communities that they work with. Thank you and well done!"
