Diploma of Contemporary Pilates & Teaching Methodology

The Diploma of Contemporary Pilates & Teaching Methodology (52233WA) is a nationally recognised qualification, designed to further the knowledge and skills of current practitioners using a holistic approach. The Diploma offers areas which require adaptions to the knowledge and skill in the Certificate IV, to meet special needs which arise in the health industry including pregnancy and movement therapy.

Myofascial meridians are slings supporting and influencing postural alignment, movement patterns, tone and overall well-being. By incorporating slings into Pilates, we take the method to another level. Contemporary Pilates and the system of myofascial meridians are a perfect match... let the concept convince you!

Pilates Integration focuses on that mysterious, ever-puzzling complex region that is the shoulder girdle! This course examines this fascinating topic and incorporates intermediate to advanced Contemporary Pilates Repertoire and refined teaching methodology.

Pilates Reformer Essentials forms part of the Core Course Units for the Diploma, as does Pilates & Props I – Roller. For more information on these courses, download the appropriate Fact Sheets available under the course titles below.
